Meet Luci, the sneaky little demon who loves causing trouble. He's smart, playful, and always has a plan up his sleeve. As the boss of the underworld and CEO of Hell, he's in charge of all the chaos down there. Luci might be small, but he's full of tricks and knows how to stir things up in a fun way. With that sly smile, you can bet he's always thinking of his next mischief. Get ready, where Luci goes, trouble follows!
Luci was created by an artist named Maskady, as an attempt to take it back to the basics: art. Here’s what the artist said prior to launching $LUCI:
“Memecoins are supposed to be fun but nowadays most of them are just coordinated PnDs designed to extract as much $ as possible. I don't have any major connections, I'm not a pro marketer or a developer; I'm just an artist who loves creating characters, stories, etc…I made this lil guy the other day, and I've been obsessed with him ever since. Trying something new here. I’ll keep creating LUCI content and breathing life into this cute demon & I’ll support community initiatives with art. But the rest is up to the community.
I think CTOs are a great way to build strong communities, but I don't like that someone has to rug first for people to CTO it—so that's why I'm trying this. ABOUT THE ARTIST
I studied art and animation for five years and worked at three different animation studios. However, I quickly realized that despite the hard work, the pay was low, and the projects didn’t align with my personal goals. To survive as an artist, I knew I needed to take risks and embrace the exciting potential of creating my own projects—through memecoins.
Before creating Luci, I worked for other web3 projects. That taught me a lot, introduced me to new people, and helped me understand this space more. Eventually, I designed the little demon you know today. I set out to create the best character and narrative possible—not as a developer, but as an artist.
Luci's community grew quickly, and I was blown away by the positive feedback from all of you. Now, my goal is to elevate Luci, not just as a coin but as a strong IP, pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve together.
